Basic Ladder Awareness

Working at height accounts for a significant amount of serious injuries and fatal accidents across the UK every year with at least a third of all fall injuries involving ladders, falls that could have been avoided with basic ladder awareness. Whilst you don’t need a formal qualification to use a ladder, you must be competent. This basic ladder awareness course will aid both employers and employees to better comply with the working at height regulations 2005 (WAHR 2005 which is aimed to reduce injuries and fatalities whilst using a ladder). As a result of these regulations,  legal duties are placed on employers and employees to assess, control and minimise the level of risk and hazards associated with working at height.
